Canaan Fir - Very fragrant, with a slight citrus scent. Dark green in color with a "bluish" tint. Medium needle length, usually 3/4 to 1 1/2 inches in length and stiff branches.

Concolor Fir - Popular Christmas tree due to its classic shape. Most fragrant fir with a citrus/tangerine scent. Blue and green hue. Soft needles 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches long & medium/stiff branches.

Douglas Fir - One of the most popular Christmas tree species. Mild, sweet aroma, lush blue-green foliage with soft needles about 1 to 1 1/2 inches in length. Sturdy branches and outstanding needle retention.

Fraser Fir - Balsam aroma scent most associated with Christmas season. Uniformly pyramid-shaped tree. Deep green, soft needles about 1/2 to 1 inch in length. Strong branches and excellent needle retention.

Norway Spruce - Very fragrant, dense foliage. Dark green in color. Stiff, short needles, usually 1/2 to 1 inch long & sturdy branches.

White Pine - Traditional Maryland Christmas tree. Fragrant pine scent and bluish-green to silver green in color. Soft, long needles usually 2 1/2 to 5 inches in length & soft branches.
